Nikos Priporas was born in 1984 in Thessaloniki, where he lives and works. He studied visual communication and photography as well as European culture. He collaborates with the photographic platform Lens Culture and has presented his work in exhibitions and festivals in Greece and abroad, as well as in the print and electronic press. He is co-founder and member of the photography collective "Depot". His project, "Westland, a photographic exploration of the western side of Thessaloniki", was awarded the 3rd prize at the Athens Photo World Award 2023.
