Nikos Priporas (b. 1984) is a photographer, photography critic, and graduate of European Cultural Studies (BA) as well as Photography and Visual Communication. He is based in Thessaloniki, Greece. His photographic work explores themes of history, national identity, and social and public space, often balancing between documentary and conceptual approaches.
He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Greece — including the Athens Photo Festival (2019) and Photometria Festival (2019–2020) — as well as internationally. His work has been featured in both print and online publications, and is included in private collections.
Ηe is a regular contributor to the international photography platform LensCulture and a founding member of the photography collective Depot.
His most recent project, "Westside Story: A visual exploration of the western districts of Thessaloniki", was awarded at Athens Photo World.
